Meet Your Therapist
Hannah Lollar, LCSW, CEDS
FOUNDER & THERAPIST
I understand that reaching out for support is a difficult thing, but I have to tell you… I’m so excited that you are here. Whether you’re here for yourself or your teen, I’m ready and willing to walk beside you on your journey.
I work primarily with adults, often those who identify as female and/or non-binary. My specialty is eating disorders; including disordered eating, body image (body dissatisfaction), and self-esteem. I will make exceptions to see minors on a case by case basis (15-17). I’ve been able to earn the achievement of being a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. This certification is a demonstration of the education, training, experience, supervision, and expertise that I’ve gained in the field of eating disorder treatment. In my sessions, I operate from a Health at Every Size (HAES) and anti-diet perspective.
While eating disorders and body image are my specialty, I also work with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ difficulties, neurodivergence, and trauma. I celebrate the individuality of each client I have the opportunity of working with; My office is open to every culture, religion, identity, and time of life.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in various settings, including both inpatient and outpatient care. Following my master’s program, I worked in an acute adult inpatient psychiatric unit for several years before I found my love for outpatient therapy. With that love, I spent a couple of years working at a private practice where I was able to further specialize my care and skills with adolescents and adults in the community.
I am passionate about mental health and assisting those seeking care. I believe that recovery is possible for everyone and am ready to assist you on your journey to healing your relationship with not only food and your body, but your Self as well.

Hannah’s Approach
It’s incredibly important to me that I tailor each client’s therapeutic experience to their specific needs. What we work on, the methods we use, and where sessions progress are decisions chosen together with your unique needs in mind. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches; I gravitate towards IFS, DBT, Feminist Theory, Person-Centered, Narrative, ACT, and some aspects of CBT. I’m ready to meet you with compassion.
And Outside of the Office?
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, music, spending time with friends and family, and more. I volunteer at a local cat rescue on a regular basis, and foster cats when I can. I have four cats of my own (it’s a lot… I know) that I love to cuddle up on the couch with. Gilmore Girls is my comfort show, Chicago is my happy place (hence the name of the practice), and writing is one of the primary ways I process life stressors. I try to prioritize a work-life balance and recognize the importance of mental health care for the professional as well.
